BIZ: ExpoElectronica 2022 and import substitution.

Bobrovsky Insulation Plant shared its achievements and development prospects with the participants of the 24th International Exhibition of electronic components, modules and components. Also within the framework of the exhibition, the General Director of BIZ – Igor Olegovich Kolokolov made a report on April 14 at a meeting with the deputy chairman of the Board of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation Oleg Ivanovich Bochkarev on the issue of supporting domestic manufacturers of materials (including foil dielectrics), equipment and technologies (production of chemical materials) necessary for the manufacture of printed circuit boards.

Traditionally, the Bobrovsky Insulation Plant presented its products to the exhibition participants: foil dielectrics (FR4-BIZ, STF, SF, STNF, MI) and structural composite products. Foil dielectrics produced by BIZ are supplied to the largest enterprises of the Russian Federation that are part of state corporations: Rostec, Almaz-Antey, Rosatom, Roscosmos, etc. The active work of the enterprise under the import substitution program allowed the Plant to produce more than 114 tons of foil dielectrics and prepregs in 2021. Since the beginning of 2022, the product line has been supplemented with foil dielectrics with a glass transition temperature of more than 170 degrees, so necessary for our consumers for the production of printed circuit boards of class 5 accuracy. For 2022, the company sets ambitious goals to increase the production of foil dielectrics, expand production and launch the production of microwave materials. In the conditions of unlawful sanctions pressure from countries unfriendly to Russia, the production of microwave materials becomes the number one task for our company, and it is on this that we will concentrate our efforts in 2022 and 2023. "The difficulties faced by industrial enterprises in Russia, of course, can make adjustments to the plans of our enterprise, but the 90-year history of the Bobrovsky insulation Plant allows us to say with confidence that they can be overcome," summarizes CEO Igor Kolokolov.

ExpoElectronica is Russia's largest exhibition in the field of electronic components, modules and components, as well as technologies, equipment and materials for the production of electronic and electrical products. Every year ExpoElectronica acts as the most important business platform for the micro- and radio electronics industry, where market leaders summarize their work, discuss business development prospects, establish new useful contacts and present the latest technologies.
